Flawless just seems like something that can only be achieved by a magazine graphic designer skilled with an airbrush and a picture of a model, so when I read today’s verse while doing my personal devotions, I was kind of shocked.
I’ve read through Songs of Songs before but never noticed what this verse said, and what that implies for you and me. Since the book is partly an allegory of the relationship with Christ and the church this holds a lot of weight in your relationship with Him. To think that God sees us as flawless is almost incomprehensible… but true. Girl, you are fearfully and wonderfully made! When God looks at you, He sees ‘no flaw in you’!
Today, look in the mirror with new eyes. Ask God to help you see what He sees… like the face, not the fuzz!
