Clean Water

10% of the proceeds from WATER IN THE DESERT are being donated to ministries who bring clean water to people in need.
I am very pleased to partner with http://www.water school.com in their outreach to Uganda. This organization teaches people the Solar Disinfections System of water purification as featured on CNN. They also teach on Sanitation and Hygeine to help stop the spread of many diseases. Book Signing-Faith Family Books Scarborough, ON

I had a great day in Scarborough at Faith Family Books. I met some wonderful people that are staying in contact with me, sharing how God is using my book to bring them water in their deserts. I am so encouraged to know that the water God used to bring me through the desert is refreshing others as they get into the book!
After I finished the book signing I got to visit with my family at a horse show nearby and wish my father Happy Father’s Day! Even brought him some of Heidi Quick’s amazing butter tarts!

Ladie’s Bible Study Pot-Luck Dinner

Love these girls! Wish everyone could have been there! The past few months we have been going through my book WATER IN THE DESERT for our Bible Study curriculum. It’s so exciting to see how God is using it! Julie Larade and I love teaching and leading this great group of women! Book Signing-Waterloo Gospel Lighthouse

Had a great time here. Staff is amazing and my twitter joke about wanting a Starbucks worked! My beautiful friend Wendy Pauls brought me my favourite Chi-Tea Latte! Now that’s a great friend 🙂

After the Book Signing I got to go out for dinner with both of my kids to an amazing restaurant called “The Works”. It was really cool with their roll up door in the front and serving pop from chilled mixing bowls. Love these times with my kids!

Book Signing-Gospel Lighthouse Hamilton, ON

So great to see some new and familiar faces in my hometown of Hamilton, ON! A few of my “youth” members stopped by to get signed copies. It was encouraging to hear how some of “my girls” were using WATER IN THE DESERT for their Bible Study together!

Book Signing–Goodbooks in Oakville, ON

Had a great day in Oakville. I got to meet another author, Jayne Self. She has published two books in the “Seaglass Mysteries” series. I’m meeting so many intersting people and having others visit that I haven’t seen in years! This Mother’s Day weekend was made extra special with my “Mom Kostiloff” being brought for her Mother’s Day surprise! Such a great store with wonderful staff. Women of Influence- Windsor

I was priviledged to speak at this incredible event! Over 250 women came to the WFCU Centre in Windsor under the leadership of Wendy Taylor. We enjoyed great worship, fellowship, food and encouragement through the many testimonies shared. Women of Influence runs these day events twice yearly in the Spring and Fall. Beside Joel & Book Signing–Indigo Book (St. Clair Shores store)

Todd and I were so excited to have WATER IN THE DESERT beside Joel Osteen’s books! Joel and Victoria Osteen’s ministry has been such an encouragement to us. Hope to one day meet them and thank them!

A couple week’s later I had a book signing at this store. My first Indigo/Chapters book signing. This is a gorgeous store in the Windsor/Tecumseh area. The staff was so helpful at teaching me how to do book signings! Great help from my daughter Shelby and her friend Tamara setting up.
